I have always been thrilled by the Down Under countries. I do not know why but maybe the reason is the same as the second one you have just stated: the idea of getting lost at the furthest possible place on Earth, far away from home.
ReplyDeleteI must admit though I relate these thoughts to my high school days when I used to listen to "Men at Work" and their famous hit "Down Under".
Yes, "Men at Work" and their fabulous song "Down Under" did a lot to draw attraction to Australia and New Zealand.
